But lately, something has felt off. In the hallway, there’s a younger student who greets him cheerfully every day. “Senior! Good morning!” At first, it felt annoying. Too loud, too close, exhausting. So he would only give short replies or pretend not to hear. But one day, that greeting didn’t come. And at that moment, he realized something—he actually felt like something was missing.
